February 1, 2007 - WasHere Associates is pleased to announce that the initial release of their Media Manager product will be available June 1, 2007. Media Manager is a way of easily managing a large library of various types of media including DVD movies, video games and CDs. Large libraries can be difficult to manage and keep track of. With Media Manager, titles can be catalogued and viewed. Additionally, with the data stored in a form that is easily queried, Web pages can be created to present views of your library.
Media Manager will support Windows XP and Windows Vista. Anticipated database support will be MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine.
Media Manager is a solution to provide an easy way to catalog and manage large media collections. Media Manager will be supported on the Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista platforms. Additionally, Media Manager will support database backends in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Edition and MySQL.
